A seasoned investment team with a local advantage and over 15 years of experience investing in Africa, having conducted due diligence on hundreds of companies across the continent.
Albert has more than 30 years of General Management and Board experience in multinationals in Germany, the UK, Zimbabwe, Brazil and the US. In 2013, he founded Mediterrania Capital Partners Ltd. where he plays an active decision-making role in its PE investment funds.
Albert is also a director of regulated investment funds in Spain and has an extensive track record of successful investments and divestments in emerging markets in Africa, Latin America, India and Spain.
Albert is the author of the book “Value Creation in Private Equity” as well as numerous white papers and press articles.
Albert is an AMP graduate from Harvard Business School (USA). He also completed the GLP from Wharton (USA) and PADE from the IESE Business School (Spain) and holds master’s degrees from Fulda Fachoschule (Germany) and Université de Poitiers (France) as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Barcelona (Spain).
Saâd has more than 35 years’ experience in many CEO, Chairman and senior management positions in different countries and various sectors including telecoms, banking, insurance and agribusiness.
During his career, Saâd has acquired an extensive knowledge of the African economic, political and social landscape. He has also built a strong network of entrepreneurs and key players in the Maghreb region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Saâd is now Chairman, Partner and a member of the Investment Committee of Mediterrania Capital Partners and sits on the Boards of several companies and groups.
Saâd holds an Engineering degree from the École Centrale de Paris (France), a Master’s degree from Sciences-Po Paris and a degree from HEC Paris.
Omar has over 17 years of investment experience, including eight years on the Investment Committee of a leading Africa-specialised public equity fund, with a top-tier performance.
Omar has a strong track record of successful investments in Africa and extensive expertise in various sectors across the continent. He is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Spanish.
Omar holds a Master’s degree in International Finance from IEB (Spain) and Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from MSA University/Middlesex University. Omar has also completed various courses and degrees throughout his career, further enriching his knowledge and expertise.

With 15 years of experience as an investment professional in multinational companies, Diandra Muscat possess a wealth of knowledge in setting up start-ups in Malta, managing AML, operations, and trading in funds, as well as serving on various board seats.
Diandra holds a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis and Fund Management (MSc) from the University of Exeter, UK, which has equipped her with the analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to excel in the financial services field.
